Canterbury Haven

Overall, the house matched the description, and my family and I stayed for 10 days. When we arrived, there were trash bags in the backyard that had been torn open, likely by an animal. There was also no body wash or lotion in the bathrooms, and the fridge displayed a “replace filter” warning. To the host’s credit, they were very responsive—the trash was cleaned up the same evening, toiletries delivered the next morning, and filters within two days. However, the last two days were affected by road work and construction happening right in front of the house, which we weren’t notified about. On the final evening, while we were out to dinner, the fire alarm went off (thankfully a false alarm), causing some panic since our belongings were inside. While there were a few inconveniences, the host’s quick responses helped, though ensuring the house is fully ready before guests arrive would make for a smoother stay.

First time in Chicago and this home was perfect for our family. Plenty of space, great amenities and very clean.
Kenneth was friendly and helpful.
If we come back we will certainly stay there again.
