Berkeley is a neighborly village with adorable homes and tree-lined streets full of Midwestern heart. The local community worked together in 1948 to establish Berkeley’s first school, a one-room school house called Sunnyside. Today, the school operates out of a much larger building under the name Sunnyside Elementary School.
Primarily a residential community, Berkeley was the home to the headquarters of the World Dryer Corporation, and you’ve almost certainly dried your hands with one of the company’s hand dryers.
