Nice, quiet neighborhood - walkable and good little spots to eat in the area. We didn’t go to them but did notice the options. Post office (if needed, I had a cookie delivery to mail off 🤣) within walking distance - literally 2 streets and a corner over! Laundromat a hop, skip and a jump away. A nice bakery in the area. Left your glasses kit at home - an optometrist across the street.
We cook the majority of our meals due to allergies/restrictions and the amount of available cookware/utensils in addition to what we travel with were on point!
We were in and out of the area all week and all of the sites we had on our list were within a reasonable driving distance! Now the Chicago traffic overall is a menace - and I thought our hometown traffic and Atlanta, GA was horrific - I will no longer complain. Lol!! Drivers and pedestrians had little concern. Just stay on guard as you travel. The neighborhood traffic was fine though - quiet, not congested - even did a few morning jogs.
