Polar Bear is a beloved ice cream parlor and burger joint serving soft-serve ice cream cones, sundaes, milkshakes and sandwiches.
First opened in 1948, Polar Bear has maintained its retro look, classic flavors and picnic-style outdoor dining area, making it wonderfully nostalgic and a fun outing for people of all ages.
Dip your soft-serve ice cream in dipped in peanut butter, chocolate and cherry coatings or cover have it covered in sprinkles. Do both if you're feeling crazy!

Polar Bear is open during summer, beginning in May and closing for the season in October.
You can get most ice cream treats for less than $5. Lunch or dinner meal options, depending on the side you select, will add up to $10-$15 per person.
Several generations of the Hwang family have managed Polar Bear for more than 20 years. Keep in mind that there’s more than just ice cream here. Polar Bear also offers hamburgers, hot dogs and fries for a more complete meal!
