Meet us where the neighborhood gathers
When the Mad Tapper, now the Happy Tapper, first opened in Northlake in 1999, it was the only bar in the neighborhood.
Over 25 years later, this casual and friendly pub is still the place where you want to be when the game is on. Relax with a basket of the bar's famous buffalo wings in homemade sauce and watch non-stop sports on multiple televisions.
Things get kicked up a notch on the weekends with a live DJ keeping the dance floor jamming.
The Happy Tapper is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m., and Sunday from noon until midnight.
The Happy Tapper’s famous buffalo wings with homemade sauce are $10. There is a full pub grub menu with burgers, sandwiches, salads and snacks. Almost everything on the menu is under $10.
Located at 121 North Ave. in Northlake, the Happy Tapper is less than 20 miles west of downtown Chicago and eight miles south of O’Hare International Airport.
