This classic Northlake diner makes everyone feel like family. The Winking Dog has been serving up hot dogs and hand-carved gyros since 1958.
Everything is made-to-order using fresh ingredients. Even its soups are homemade from scratch. You'll never be disappointed when eating at the Winking Dog.
The Winking Dog has an extensive menu, all of it delicious. Particular favorites include a classic corned beef sandwich on rye with mustard and a pickle, as well as the barbeque chicken and ribs, a combo plate of a half-chicken and half-slab of ribs with fries and coleslaw.
The Winking Dog is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Winking Dog is located at 100 E. North Ave. in Northlake. There is a drive-through window, but we recommend parking the car and coming inside to enjoy this welcoming diner!
