Forest Park's Twisted Cookie is a cookie cafe and bakery offering cookies, cookie pies, cupcake cookies, stuffed brownies, milkshakes and more.
Owner and baker Joana Fischer bakes her signature magic into everything on Twisted Cookie's menu.Try her unique cookie confections, such as the peanut butter cup cupcake cookie, which looks like a cupcake but tastes like a cookie. Or the Oreo cheesecake cookie, which has a cookie crust and is topped with cookie crumbles. You won't want to miss out on Twisted Cookie's fudge brownies that are dipped in chocolate and stuffed with delicious fillings, from salted caramel and pecans to peanut butter.
Twisted Cookie is open Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Prices start at about $5.
Baker and owner Joana Fischer's confections are inspired by her mother and she recreates recipes from her childhood using her mother’s favorite ingredient: love.
Located at 7401 Madison St. in Forest Park, Twisted Cookie is just a half-mile walk from the Harlem Stop on the “L” Blue Line Train.
