Founder Jennifer Del Giudice — a registered nurse, aromatherapist, and oncology-certified aesthetician — created Honor Thy Apothecary after witnessing her daughter struggle with severe digestive issues, eczema, and anxiety, with no clear answers from conventional medicine.
Through this experience, Jennifer discovered the hidden, hormone-disrupting toxins in everyday skincare and personal care products. Determined to protect her daughter, she turned to plant-based, essential-oil–infused solutions, crafting truly clean, non-toxic alternatives. Within weeks, her daughter’s skin began to heal, and her overall well-being improved.
The shop is located at in downtown Brookfield and is just 15 miles from downtown Chicago and a two-minute walk from the Brookfield Stop on the BNSF Railway.
