Tara's place is in a great location - Oak Park is a beautiful neighbourhood. There is easy access to transit (buses, green line and Metra), grocery stores, restaurants, and local attractions such as the Frank Lloyd Wright house. Just across the street is a beautiful park, Austin Gardens, for spending time in.
During the first night of our stay we found that our room was too hot, and Tara arranged for an AC unit to be fitted.
The space and shared amenities are small, but we expected this based on the photos and description. It was comfortable enough for two people for a long weekend.
We did find that the bathroom could have been a lot cleaner and tidier, which detracted from our experience.

I had a great stay at Tara's place during my short visit to Chicago. The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described in the listing. Tara was responsive and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and communication easy. The location was perfect, close to public transport, restaurants, and cinemas.
