This well-known and well-loved Black-owned popcorn shop has all the classic flavors, from cheese and caramel, as well as more creative ones, including Memphis barbecue cheddar, Guadalajara hot sauce, caramel apple, maple bacon and dill pickle.
Sha-Poppin is best known for its famous 24-karat gold caramel popcorn, which is delicious caramel popcorn covered in real and edible 24-karat gold. It's great for those who love a little glamor in their lives or for when you're feeling fancy.
Sha-Poppin is closed Monday through Wednesday.
At Sha-Poppin, there is a popcorn size and a price for everyone, starting at about $6 for a "not-so-small' bag of popcorn and going up in size and cost from there!
Sha-Poppin founder Stacy Hawkins- Armstrong is known as the “mad scientist of popcorn," having spent hours testing and developing different flavor combinations.
